Buckley Bonini

Bikini’s twin brother, Buckley is also twelve years old. Puberty has hit his body, but not his brain. He’s a huge, strapping child, destined for greatness on the football field, if not the field of intellect. Hyper-coordinated and naturally graceful, he can do anything physical well, from bowling to ballet.

Whereas Bikini is the brains of the twin pair, Buckley is the soulful and sensitive side of the duo. All heart and brawn, he’s intensely loyal to Bikini. But when she oversteps her boundaries or hurts other people’s feelings, he will make her stop and think. So far, he’s the only one to say “no” to Bikini and live.

To maintain his immense size, Buckley eats like a herd of horses, and is always first in line to try one of Bikini’s new recipes. Plus, he’s a slob. The combination of these characteristics means that one can often tell exactly what Buckley has eaten at every meal the past week just by looking at his clothes. To economize, he wears each shirt four times: front, back, inside-out and backwards.

Buckley has a crush on Kate Bigman, but he isn’t really up to Kate’s speed.
